Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

The Service is used by two kinds of people:

• Account holders — landscaping professionals and businesses who subscribe to Mimly Pro.
• Project participants ("clients") — homeowners, HOA board members, or other individuals a subscriber invites to review and select landscaping options through a shared link.

This policy applies to both. Where a practice applies to only one group, we say so.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account information: name, email address, business name, and password when a subscriber creates an account.
• Billing information: payment details processed through our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems; Stripe handles payment processing. See Section 6.
• Business content: supplier information, client project details, property addresses, notes, uploaded photos and documents, and other content a subscriber enters to manage their projects.
• Client selections: when a project participant uses a shared link, we collect the design and material preferences they select, along with any notes they provide.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: how the Service is accessed and used, including device and browser information, and general log data.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in and to operate the Service.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• Process subscriptions and payments;
• Enable subscribers to create projects and generate sourcing lists and purchase orders;
• Enable project participants to review and select landscaping options;
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support;
• Improve and develop the Service;
• Protect the security and integrity of the Service and comply with legal obligations.

4. How information is shared

We share information only as described here:

• Between subscribers and their project participants. When a subscriber invites a client to a project, the subscriber and that client can see the information relevant to that project. Subscribers control the projects they create.
• With service providers. We use third-party providers to operate the Service, including Stripe (payments), our hosting and database infrastructure, and email delivery. These providers may access information only as needed to perform services for us.
• For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Mimly, our users, or others.
• In a business transfer. If Mimly is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Your choices and rights

• Access and correction. Subscribers can access and update their account information within the Service.
• Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us at the address in Section 9. Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
• Communications. You can opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We may still send you essential account and transaction messages.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. Contact us to exercise them.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you make a payment, your payment information is provided directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe's privacy policy and security standards. We receive limited information such as the status of a transaction and the last four digits of a card, but not full card details.

7. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
